Have been hunting around online trying to resolve a problem I am experiencing...
I have a Denon AVR-X3300W and when I powered it on this morning I got a screen suggesting that I install a Firmware update, which estimated an 11-minute install time. The device is connected to the network via cable (through Powerline to my router). However, the update has reached a certain point and seems to have frozen. The panel on the front reads 'UPDATE > 27% 8m', which I assume means that it is 27% complete and has 8 minutes left but it has displayed this for well over an hour now. None of the buttons on the remote are responsive, even hitting the power button on the front of the unit has no effect.
I cannot see any advice following my initial searches. Most firmware fails that I have found reported seem to have an onscreen fail message. Any recommendations or ideas warmly welcomed.
